Waco Sires

WACO BARON (P)

Baron is a moderate framed polled scur bull that was retained for his muscle pattern, excellent sheath and depth of body. He is the sire of Waco Queenslander who sold in 2020 for $110 000 to Yulgilbar Santa Gertrudis. Baron breeds consistently as his progeny all carry the same early maturity pattern and constitution.

WACO MUSTANG (P)

Mustang was also a member of the BEEF 2018 Champion Interbreed Breeders Group. A dark polled bull with power and volume. Mustang has passed his quality onto his progeny as his sons carry his body capacity, structural correctness and maturity pattern that will add to any breeding program.

WACO NITRO

Nitro is our resident powerhouse. He is our go to bull to put bone, thickness and weight for age into any female. He is incredibly agile and glides around the paddock to cover his cows. He is one of the few horned bulls we are using but a bull we thought that much of we had to keep him.

WACO FALCON (P)

As a young bull Falcon carried all the desirable attributes to have a major influence in our herd. He possessed the maturity pattern that we aspire for in all our cattle. Falcon was heavy at a young age with an amazing depth of body and an incredible constitution. At 23 months he had an EMA of 140cm with fat of 12/14, 40 cm testicles and an 88% morphology. All of this combined with beautiful breed character, tidy sheath and near perfect structural soundness makes him an impressive package. 

His first drop of calves were exceptional, with five sons being retained for in herd use and 10 sons selling for an impressive $19 000 average at auction. This year he will have 14 sons in our sale, and they are just as impressive.

WACO FLOYD (PP)

Floyd was sold to Yarrawonga and Diamond H studs for $90 000 in 2017. Prior to sale, semen was collected for use in our IVF and ET programs. He is passing on his amazing temperament, muscle pattern, bone and volume.

WACO FLINTSTONE

Flinstone was retained in the stud for his weight for age, soft muscle pattern and breed character. He was unfortunately injured last year, and we will miss the frame and performance that he injected into his progeny. His male progeny have sold well over the last few years and he has left us with some outstanding females.

WACO FENTON (P)

A polled bull with incredible bone, breed character, depth of body and skin type. He is another bull that was unfortunately injured last season but is represented by 9 bulls in this year’s sale. We value his female progeny highly for their constitution and softness.

FOREST PARK JACKAROO (PS)

Jackaroo was purchased at the Blackall sale for $22 000. We admired his softness, skin type and maturity pattern and he has not disappointed. His progeny all exhibit depth of body with and outstanding softness and constitution.

YARRAWONGA FORCE

Force was purchased from Yarrawonga in 2016 for $45 000. He is an early maturing bull with incredible width of frame and muscle. Being a bull with excellent structure and sheath he is an easy bull to join and his progeny are always consistent.

WATASANTA MATLOCK (PS)

Purchased in 2018, Matlock is a moderate framed dark poll scur bull with great bone and incredible temperament. He was multiple joined over heifers in his first year and through DNA tests discovered he is a hard worker and is producing quality progeny.
